Rotary Club of Kashmir Organizes Successful Cleanliness Drive at Nishat Bund

Srinagar, August 17, 2025: The Rotary Club of Kashmir conducted a significant cleanliness drive at the popular Nishat Bund area, drawing enthusiastic participation from many Rotarians and young volunteers. The drive aimed to promote environmental awareness and reinforce the importance of maintaining public spaces free from litter.

Among the dedicated participants were President Jagjit Singh, Secretary Dr. Touseef Ahmed, Treasurer Adil Shah, along with Dr. Saleem Khan, Dr. Fara Shafi, Dr. Zeenat, Liyaqat Ahamd  and several other committed members of the club. The event witnessed vigorous efforts in cleaning the area, setting an example of community responsibility.

It is vital to inculcate this awareness at an early stage to ensure a cleaner and healthier environment for all.”

The Rotary Club of Kashmir reiterated its commitment to continuing such initiatives and urged residents and students alike to actively participate in fostering civic responsibility.
The drive was widely appreciated by local residents and visitors, highlighting the club’s dedication towards a cleaner and greener Kashmir.
