Pulwama, July 20: In a significant step towards fostering cooperative development and empowering local communities, the Jammu and Kashmir Rural Livelihoods Mission (JKRLM) Pulwama joined hands with the Cooperative Department to organize a day-long programme at DMMU Pulwama. The event aimed at enlightening cluster coordinators and office bearers of cluster level federations (CLF) of JKRLM Pulwama about the advantages, prerequisites, and registration procedures for becoming cooperatives. Key officials from the Cooperative Department, including Mr. Haseeb Ahmad, Assistant Registrar cooperatives, and Mushtaq Ahmad, Supervisor Cooperatives Pulwama, graced the occasion and provided valuable insights. The programme was also attended by MIS, block programme managers, and district programme managers of JKRLM Pulwama, and SHG leaders, gathered at the event to understand benefits and procedures of registering Nodal CLFs as cooperatives.
Mr. Haseeb, Assistant Registrar from the Cooperative Department, addressed the audience, shedding light on the transformative power of cooperatives in fostering community-driven growth. He emphasized the cooperative model’s role in promoting sustainable development and empowering individuals economically.
Furthermore, Mushtaq Ahmad, Supervisor Cooperatives Pulwama, also played a crucial role in the programme. His expertise and experience provided a comprehensive understanding of the registration process, simplifying the complexities for the attendees.
