Your Morning Routine Can Make Or Break Your Whole Day

Posted on June 9, 2021 by KS News Desk | Last updated on June 9, 2021

How does your day start? Do you wake up in a state of bliss, or are you already dreading the workday ahead? If you’re not happy when you first get out of bed, then it’s likely that your whole day will be less enjoyable. Creating a happiness habit and making sure that every single morning starts with positivity is the best way to start your day on a high note. Here are few tips on how to create a happiness habit and make sure that every single morning starts with positivity.

Write down three things in your notebook that makes you feel grateful each night before going to sleep. Set the alarm so that after waking up – no matter what time it is – take five minutes to do something fun like playing games or watching funny videos online.  Set alarms at different intervals throughout the day (e.g., set one alarm during lunch break) to check in with yourself.

Incorporate a morning walk into your routine. Hit the ground running with some fresh air and exercise to get those endorphins flowing! Startup conversations, take in nature or even feel that sun on your skin for at least 20 minutes before you start the rest of your day’s tasks. This small step will set the tone for what is likely to be a fantastic day ahead because one thing leads to another: when we’re feeling happy and healthy, our thoughts are more optimistic, which can lead us down paths of prosperity; it also affects how we treat others- like family members, coworkers, strangers–which spreads positivity around too. These high natural feelings don’t last long, so grab them while they’re here!

A morning routine can help set the tone for the rest of the day, so start with one glass of water- it’ll give you an instant boost in energy and will also keep you hydrated throughout your busy workday. It doesn’t take much to make this happen. This simple act will do wonders not only for your body but also your mind – studies show drinking enough water each day helps promote mental clarity and physical health.

When you are in excellent physical shape, your day gets off on the right foot. Get up earlier than usual and stretch out before heading downstairs for breakfast.

It will take about five minutes to do some basic stretches that work all of your major muscle groups: neck, back, shoulders, chest and abdominals. Make sure to smile while stretching – it’s important not to forget this happiness habit! You’ll feel great when you’re done with these easy exercises. Your body is also better able to handle stress if it isn’t feeling tight or tense from stiffness caused by lack of movement during sleep.”

Listening to music in the morning can boost mood and release happy hormones.  Researchers found that participants who listened to positive songs before they went about their day.

It is essential to start your day with a cheerful mood, people, activities and thoughts. It is the best strategy to have a great day!
