HONOR THE WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

Posted on June 5, 2021 by KS News Desk | Last updated on June 5, 2021

World environment day is celebrated on the 5th of May every year. This day is being celebrated to create awareness among people about environmental problems, solutions and the pressures that humanity faces on this planet. In honour of this special occasion, we have put together a few ways you can celebrate and honour this day.

– Plant a tree

– Reduce the amount of water you use

– Recycle your items

– Turn off lights when not in use.

Preserving the environment and plantation of trees can save our generations. It is the main source of oxygen. It’s challenging to find a place where trees have not been cut down. Planting at least one tree in our life can save the environment for future generations. Trees produce oxygen that is needed by plant and animals. Forests provide habitat for more than half of all land vertebrates on earth.

There are many ways to conserve water. A good place to start is with your bathroom habits. Take shorter showers and turn the faucet off when you’re brushing your teeth or washing your hands. Another great way to save water in the kitchen is by using a dishwasher instead of hand-washing dishes and installing low-flow toilets that use less than half the amount of water that traditional toilets do.

Do you want to help the environment? What about saving money? If so, then recycling your items is one of the best things you can do. Let’s face it; we live in a disposable society that has created tons of waste. Recycling is an easy way to reduce this waste and help save our planet.

Do you know how much energy is wasted by leaving one electric bulb on? It’s an incredible amount. But what if we told you that it is possible to save money and conserve energy with a simple switch.

To conclude we would say make healthy habits and preserve your environment in all ways you can. Make healthy habits like recycling, reusing, and reducing plastic consumption in everyday life (e.g., bring your shopping bag). Support local businesses that have sustainable practices so that they will stay around for generations as well! This isn’t just about Environment Day; it’s about living out.Do you know how much energy is wasted by leaving one light bulb on? It’s an incredible amount.
