In a powerful display of national pride, residents of Kashmir Valley took part in ‘Tiranga Rallies’ across multiple districts, proudly displaying the Indian flag in their homes and communities as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign ahead of Independence Day.

The rallies were part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign where people from all walks of life were encouraged to install the national flag in front of their houses and localities, reinstating the pride of national unity.
Kashmir Valley recipes patriotism through ‘Tiranga Rallies‘ ahead of Independence Day–organized across many parts of the Kashmir Valley as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and saw residents showing off the national flag in houses and colonies, in a bid to underline the spirit of unity for the nation before Independence Day celebrations. The districts that witnessed huge participation by the residents in these rallies include Shopian, Pulwama, Bandipora, Baramulla, and Kupwara.
The officials called the processions a lively display of national pride. “These rallies passed through district headquarters and infused a deep sense of pride and respect for the national flag,” an official said. The presence of senior officers from the police and civil administration, including deputy commissioners and superintendents of police, added gravity to such programmes. Hundreds turned up to show their commitment to the nation’s values.
The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign–designed with the intention that every household will fly the national flag to create a collective celebration of India’s Independence. The rallies are likely to continue in the coming days to the Independence Day and further cement the bond of unity.
