Doda, Dec 19: In a focused effort to curb illegal activities involving foreign nationals, Doda Police has lodged three FIRs against a total of ten individuals, including Rohingyas and Bangladeshi nationals, along with their facilitators. These individuals were found to have unlawfully obtained Indian identity documents such as Domicile Certificates, Aadhaar Cards, Ration Cards, Voter ID Cards, and PAN Cards, while residing illegally in District Doda.Doda Police Initiates Action Against Myanmar and Bangladeshi Nationals for Illegally Procuring Indian Identity Documents
According to the police, an in-depth discreet inquiry revealed the involvement of (01) Raheela Begum, (02) Shakeela Begum, (03) Jahan Ara, (04) Meem Bano, and (05) Muskan Banoo from Myanmar, alongside (01) Zavaira Begum, (02) Shabnam Begum, (03) Noor Bhar, and (04) Zeenat Begum, also from Myanmar, in different areas across the district. These individuals unlawfully obtained Indian identity documents misrepresenting themselves as permanent residents of District Doda.
Additionally, one Bangladeshi national, Nusrat Jahan, along with her facilitators, was implicated in another case for violating visa norms, overstaying illegally, and acquiring Indian identity documents.
During the ongoing investigation, incriminating materials were recovered from house Doda Police Initiates Action Against Myanmar and Bangladeshi Nationals for Illegally Procuring Indian Identity Documents, serving as vital evidence in these cases. Authorities have initiated a rigorous probe to unveil the identities of the facilitators and government employees involved in the issuance of Indian identity documents to these foreign nationals, aiming to hold them accountable for their actions.
