Dr. Bilal Pandow’s Book Makes Money Matters Child’s Play

Srinagar: MoneyVilla: Learn to be Money Smart, a children’s book on financial literacy authored by Dr. Bilal Ahmad Pandow, was formally launched during the Chinar Book Festival 2025 at SKICC, Srinagar. The event was organized by the National Book Trust of India.

The book launch was graced by Dr. G. N. Itoo, Director of School Education Kashmir, and Vijay Dhar, Chairman of Delhi Public School (DPS) Srinagar), in the presence of Dr. Amit Wanchoo, Chief Convener of the Chinar Book Festival, and Mr. Majid Mushtaq Pandit, Official from the Press Information Bureau (PIB).

Published by Vitasta Publishing Private Limited, New Delhi, MoneyVilla is designed to make money matters simple, engaging, and educational for children. The book introduces young readers to the basics of finance, helping them understand concepts such as saving, budgeting, and the importance of managing money wisely.

Dr. Bilal Pandow’s Book Makes Money Matters Child’s Play

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Bilal Ahmad Pandow said, “Financial literacy is an essential life skill that should begin early. With MoneyVilla, I wanted to create a simple, story-based guide that sparks curiosity and builds a foundation for smart money habits among children.”

The launch witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and educators across the Valley, highlighting the growing recognition of financial literacy as a core component of children’s education.
