Distributes Fruits, Juices, and Medicine for Mourners

Srinagar, July 17: The bustling streets of Alamgari Bazar witnessed an extraordinary act of community service and compassion as Shah-E-Khidmat Trust organized a refreshment camp for mourners, distributing fruits, juices, and essential medicines. This noble initiative, held in collaboration with Noor and Sons Pharmaceutical, was a heartwarming gesture aimed at providing comfort and support to those observing the solemn occasion.

A Gesture of Solidarity and Support

The event, held at Alamgari Bazar, was meticulously planned to coincide with the mourning procession, ensuring that those participating in the commemoration received the care and attention they needed. The camp, set up early in the morning, saw volunteers from Shah-E-Khidmat Trust and Noor and Sons Pharmaceutical working tirelessly to cater to the needs of the mourners.

Faisal Bashir Shah, Chairman of Shah-E-Khidmat Trust, expressed the organization’s commitment to serving the community. “This initiative is our humble effort to provide some relief to the mourners during this time of remembrance and reflection. We are grateful to Noor and Sons Pharmaceutical for their generous support, which has made this event possible,” he said.

Nourishment for the Body and Soul

As the mourners walked through the streets, they were greeted by the sight of neatly arranged stalls brimming with fresh fruits, assorted juices, and essential medicines. The volunteers, wearing identifiable vests, welcomed them with warm smiles and words of encouragement.

Sheikh Kounsar a volunteer with Shah-E-Khidmat Trust, shared her experience, stating, “It is incredibly fulfilling to be part of this initiative. Seeing the gratitude in the eyes of the mourners when they receive a refreshing drink or a piece of fruit is indescribable. We are here to serve and support them in any way we can.”

The distribution of fruits and juices was particularly significant, providing much-needed hydration and nourishment to the participants. With the hot weather adding to the physical exertion of the procession, these refreshments were a vital source of energy and relief.

Health and Well-being: A Top Priority

In addition to the food and drinks, the camp also focused on the health and well-being of the mourners by distributing essential medicines. Noor and Sons Pharmaceutical played a crucial role in this aspect, supplying a variety of over-the-counter medications, including pain relievers, antacids, and electrolyte solutions.

Saqib Noor,  representing Noor and Sons Pharmaceutical, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting community health. “We are honored to partner with Shah-E-Khidmat Trust in this endeavor. Our goal is to ensure that the mourners have access to basic medical supplies, helping them to stay healthy and safe during the procession. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to community service and well-being.”

 

Looking Ahead: Continued Commitment to Service

Shah-E-Khidmat Trust and Noor and Sons Pharmaceutical have set a remarkable example of community service through this refreshment camp. Their collaborative effort not only provided immediate relief to the mourners but also underscored the importance of supporting each other in times of need.

Looking ahead, both organizations are committed to continuing their efforts to serve the community. Plans are already underway for future initiatives aimed at addressing various needs and challenges faced by the community.

Kaiser Ahmad Kanth Ex,committee member of shah-E-Khidmat trust concluded by saying, “This is just the beginning. We are dedicated to our mission of serving the community and will continue to explore ways to make a positive impact. We invite others to join us in these efforts and contribute to the well-being of our community.”
