Srinagar, Mar 04: Under the Blood Bank Upliftment Program, INTAS Foundation’s Srinagar Branch demonstrated its commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure by providing essential equipment worth more than one lakh rupees to the Blood Bank at SMHS Hospital, Srinagar. In a ceremony attended by the Head of the Blood Bank, Dr. Bilal, the donation included a computer all-in-one, laptop, colored printer, and UPS. The aim of this initiative is to fortify the blood banking ecosystem, ensuring efficient and reliable services for patients in need. Project Associate, Tanveer Ahmad, and Project Counselor, Mehjooba Ramazan, representing INTAS Foundation, facilitated the handover ceremony, emphasizing the organization’s dedication to supporting healthcare development initiatives.
Expressing his gratitude and appreciation for the donation, Dr. Bilal emphasized its significance in improving the efficiency and quality of blood transfusion services. He extended his thanks to INTAS Foundation, particularly acknowledging Rajneesh Bakshi, the Project Head of the Blood Banks Upliftment Program, and his Srinagar team for their generous contribution, support, and timely delivery of electronic goods.
“This donation is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of INTAS Foundation, aimed at providing medical equipment and infrastructure to various blood banks in Jammu and Kashmir” Tanveer said.
The initiative underscores INTAS Foundation’s commitment to advancing healthcare infrastructure and fostering community health initiatives, ultimately benefiting the residents of Srinagar and surrounding areas, he added.
