J&K Bank’s ‘Ghar Ghar KCC Abhiyaan’ empowers farmers in Budgam

Budgam, Jan 03: In its ongoing effort to maximize Kisan Credit Cards (KCC) in Jammu and Kashmir through the ‘Ghar Ghar KCC Abhiyaan’, J&K Bank is actively organizing KCC Saturation Camps across the Union Territory. J&K Bank’s ‘Ghar Ghar KCC Abhiyaan’ empowers farmers in Budgam

During a visit to the Choon area camp in Budgam district, MD & CEO Baldev Prakash, accompanied by various bank officials and local dignitaries, distributed sanction letters to 35 PM Kisan beneficiaries, totaling Rs 32 Lacs. The camp, held in collaboration with Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Animal Husbandry, and Fisheries departments, aimed to include all eligible PM Kisan beneficiaries under the KCC Scheme.

Addressing attendees, Baldev Prakash highlighted the significance of agriculture in the region’s economy and emphasized the campaign’s goal: ensuring seamless access to affordable credit facilities for every farmer. He stressed that KCC not only offers financial aid but also empowers farmers to make informed choices for increased earnings.

Expressing the bank’s commitment to rural development in Jammu and Kashmir, Prakash reiterated their mission to achieve 100% KCC saturation, emphasizing the positive impact on agricultural productivity, financial inclusion, and national prosperity.

Encouraging eligible farmers to take advantage of tailored financial support, he emphasized simplified procedures and timely credit assistance to meet farming requirements. Additionally, he directed officials to instantly provide RuPay debit cards to beneficiaries, enabling their participation in the digital banking ecosystem.
