BDS students and college interns enthusiastically participated in the competition. Prior to the event, Professor Dr. Riyaz Farooq, the college’s Principal/Dean, addressed the audience and participants. This year’s theme, ‘Mental health is a universal human right,’ served as a reminder to promote awareness and action worldwide for mental health as a fundamental human right, he said.

The painting competition allowed participants to showcase their skills and convey strategies for coping with mental stress. Following the competition, prizes were awarded, with Professor Dr. Sandeep Kour and Dr. Shazana Nazir serving as judges. Nafeesa Azhar clinched the first prize, while the second prize went to Nudrat Malik and Rifat Kohli. Sanjeev Kumar, Irshad Husaain, and Manvi Aggarwal were honored with the third prize. All participants received certificates of participation, contributing to a meaningful observance of World Mental Health Day.
