Srinagar, July 17 – In a major move, the Jammu & Kashmir government terminated the services of Faheem Aslam, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the University of Kashmir, along with Revenue Department officer Murawath Hussain Mir and Police Constable Arshid Ahmad Thoker. Their dismissal comes after investigations revealed their involvement in aiding Pakistani terror outfits, promoting terrorist ideology, funding terror activities, and pushing secessionist agenda. According to official sources, the government invoked Article 311(2)(c) of the Indian Constitution to take action against the three employees, as they were found to be acting on behalf of Pakistan’s ISI and the terror outfits.

The latest termination order, a part of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha’s unwavering “Zero Tolerance Against Terrorism” policy, marks the 52nd officer to be sacked for their links with terror outfits.
